Here’s a compilation of all the articles about free VST plugins that try to emulate the most famous synths, plus links to the freeware plugins that are the only one to recreate a kind of machine (they didn’t get an article). Below is a list of best free VST emulations.
- Analogue Synth - Free Vst Plugins: Image Product / Description: Rez is a seemingly basic monosynth, but it’s capable of a very wide range of sounds.
- The Odsay synth plugin by Elektrostudio is a free VST emulation of the ARP Odyssey synthesizer that first saw the light of day in 1972. Odsay is a two-oscillator virtual analog synth featuring subtractive synthesis.
