- Cherry Audio has released a free software synth, Surrealistic MG-1 Plus Synthesizer, that’s designed to emulate the bizarre Radio Shack Realistic Concertmate MG-1. The MG-1 was Radio Shack’s attempt to bring analog synthesizers to a home audience, and it has some quirky features as a result.
- Most people tend to underrate free software because they think that if they were better, they would be able to sell them. You have more than 90+ parameters to work with, tempo sync, dedicated effects, a band splitter and wave sequencing. They also integrated granular synthesis, and multi-stage envelopes with graphic editing.
